You all are being mean.
If you get the above, +1 for you.
(Tongue firmly planted in cheek)
everyone should take this test and post their results.. everyone has a direction to their flow of energy, a way of gathering information, a way of coming to decisions, and a way that they live their day-to-day life.
put your preferences together and you are either introverted/extroverted, sensing or intuitive, thinking or feeling, and judging or perceiving.
everyone will fit into one of these 16 categories you can thus create.
Your Type is ISFJ |
Introverted | Sensing | Feeling | Judging |
Strength of the preferences % | |||
67 | 12 | 38 | 89 |
I kept second guessing the questions, so I don't know how accurate this is.
I have trouble distinguishing between how I think I should answer a question on the test and how I actually am.
If that makes sense...
What smells or tastes gross you out the most?
Toenail clippings (or rather the gunk that is attached) smell kinda nasty to me....
Wait, wait not that I go around trying to smell them....it's just, you know, they can smell.
over the past few days... someone who i'm no longer associated with has been out on vendetta to discredit me.
it started with a mass mail to my myspace friends, which caused nothing more than a few eyebrows to be raised.
that was the reaction of people who know me in real life.
Restrangled:
I just wanted to say that I appreciate the lengths that you went to to try and sort this all out. I think you are unfairly getting dumped on and that your motivations are being questioned and that they shouldn't be. You probably would have been happier to find out that Seth's story was untrue. I, for one, don't think you were out for blood, just truth.
Everybody:
In the other threads, I said that I didn't really care one way or the other about if Richie was telling tall tales, and I still feel that way. Ritchie has never been relevant to me - I don't connect with him, his attitudes, or his life style. That's my opinion to have, and obviously isn't shared by most here, and that's fine. You can like him, I don't have to, big deal.
So what's my point?
Seth's accounting of things has been independently verified by posters here who I do respect. I've also done my own checking and am satisfied about Seth's motivations. It isn't Richie's tall tales that bother me and I don't feel that a lot of hubbub should be made over them because they certainly don't amount to Trevor proportions, but there is one thing that bothers me...when I hear that Richie performed a procedure in somebody's kitchen, it goes wrong, and then he points the finger at somebody else's shop (Seth's), that is what bothers me. That is tremendously uncool. For any poster that isn't bothered by Ritchie doing that, and still wants to fawn all over him, sheesh, what color is the sky in your world? Purple with pink poka dots?I think that most posters have missed that little detail in amongst the vast amount of thread pages and think this whole thing is just about whether Ritchie did or didn't work for Seth. No, that's very minor.
So, I've thrown my lot in with restrangled. Flame away.
after finding this forum and being raised in the jw religion, i found jwd a refreshing place for honest feelings, fears, life experiences etc.. the history of the jw's was exposed, and those who lived any experience under this regime has been told by many members.. to be lied to by any forum member is insulting.
i have over my past year and 1/2 come to love many posters.
i realize many more have much longer time put in here.. i have been honest and exposed more of my self than i care to think about, but always kept in mind that others were doing the same and it was best for anyone new.. to lie on this forum to all of these members is horrible and i am questioning why i am so honest here.
Little Drummer Boy, for every good positive sounding post that NVR pulls up there are at least 2 or 3 that are very insulting and amount to nothing but name calling. I dont enjoy it when people pretend they are concerned and then call me names like "stupid idiot" etc etc etc.
Actually JG, I have watched the interchanges between you and nvr (I pay attention to nvr because 1) he's pretty cool, and 2) he's witty). You see, J G, these threads don't exist in a vacuum- they are here where everybody can read them, so you don't need to tell me what's what. I've already read it for myself.

I'm kinda shocked that somebody would actually have the balls to say that nvr is unkind and doesn't have empathy.....sheesh....nvr's like one of the nicest, most supportive guys on this board.
I mean sure, nvr can call people on their crap like the best of 'em, but he's always polite about it.
If I had to take an opposing position on any topic with any poster, it would be nvr that I would want it to be because at least when I got my ass handed to me he wouldn't make me feel bad about it. He'd be so nice about it that I'd prolly thank him for the ass wupping...LOL
most of us guys hate shopping and now there was a study done on the psysiologic effects of shopping on men.
so ladies, when we don't want to go shopping with you don't take it personal.
it might be relaxing and enjoyable for you but it has the opposite effect on men.. http://www.cbc.ca/world/story/1998/12/22/xmasshop981222.html.
Hey Brent, beautiful work. Since you dip beeswax candles, and since I happen to be in possesion of about 10 or 11lbs of pure yellow beeswax sheets from Silverbow (just like in that candle) that I am trying to find a home for, would you consider a trade of some sort? I would be proud as heck to own something you made by hand like that. Just wondering.
i would like to make it so that i can log on to any computer in the house from my computer.
i've got my wireless system hooked up; so everyone can use the linksys.
i, also, have them with the regular wires (usb ports).
Remote Desktop (built into WIndows) will get you onto any of the other machines. It shows the other computers desktop in a window on your screen. You then have complete control of the remote PC as if you were sitting at it. If the remote connection is configured properly, you can even share drives, the clip board, printers, etc. between the two. With proper file sharing setup, you could easily transfer documents back and forth. Depending on your network speed, it can be fairly good response time. I usually have 2-5 remote desktop connections going at any one time at work so that I can manage my servers. It isn't difficult to setup at all.
Find the My Computer icon. Right click and select "Properties". Pick the "Remote" tab. In the middle of that screen click the box that says, "Allow users to connect remotely to this computer". That enables the computer to accept the Remote Desktop connection from other machines. Every computer should be set to not bypass the Welcome Screen. You want to have password protected accounts.
To login to the remote machine, go Start -> Accessories -> Remote Desktop Connection
From there you get a prompt for the target computer. There are a couple of ways to do it: by computer name, or by IP address. Either way, you will need to supply the user account and password of the remote system.
my awesome pre-teen girls are the best kids in the world.
and they were spanked!.
did he do it because he's a fifth-generation jw?.
Bullshit
Are you saying that Mr. Flipper's story is a lie LDB? Or are you saying it does not effectively demonstrate that a two year old can be reasoned with and is capable of understanding?
Cog
I believe his story, obviously. I have no reason not to. Your flawed logic is what I call bullshit on. ALL kids are different. ALL kids respond to different forms of discipline. This is NOT rocket science.
